Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience.
• Senior finance role with group accounts experience.
• Strong technical accounting and statutory reporting knowledge.
• Experience producing statutory accounts and managing external audits.
• Good understanding of financial controls, balance sheet management and compliance.
• Strong Excel skills and experience using ERP/finance systems.
• Able to communicate confidently with colleagues across the business and senior management.
• Practical, detail‑oriented, with ability to prioritise multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage month‑end close and consolidate information across multiple companies.
• Prepare monthly management reports and ensure timely accuracy.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls.
• Oversee intercompany accounting, reconciliations and recharges.
• Prepare cash flow reports and support balance sheet forecasting.
• Coordinate statutory accounts and manage year‑end audits.
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisers and other contacts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and VAT requirements.
• Maintain accounting policies and drive process improvements.
• Support the setup of new group entities and reporting structures.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and MB/Board reporting.
