Job summary

Together - loans, mortgages & finance is seeking a Senior Group Finance Manager in Cheadle. In this role, you will lead the Financial Control team in producing accurate month-end reporting and maintain compliance with the Financial Control Framework.

You will work closely with various stakeholders, providing guidance in complex accounting areas and managing the interest-rate swap portfolio. Benefits include generous holiday allowance, health plan, and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge is required.
• Ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Financial Control Team for accurate reporting.
• Ensure accuracy of balance sheet analyses and management information.
• Account for the Group's interest-rate swap portfolio end to end.
• Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Extensive technical accounting experience

Experience communicating and influencing senior stakeholders

Good knowledge of GL accounting systems

Ability to work with stakeholders to identify requirements

Moderate computer skills with experience in Excel

Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent)
