Job summary

WSP is seeking mid-career hydrogeologists/modellers to grow our Catchment Science portfolio in the UK. You will lead groundwater modelling studies, manage projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across hydrology, environment, and engineering teams to deliver integrated water resources solutions.

The role offers hybrid working in the UK, with opportunities to influence regulatory and infrastructure projects while developing client relationships and technical leadership.

Qualifications

• MSc Hydrogeology and a related BSc are required or expected.
• Chartership with a relevant professional body is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Technical delivery of hydrogeology and water resources projects with regional groundwater modelling.
• Manage projects with financial oversight, change control and QA.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Define scopes and approaches with the Hydrogeology lead.
• Produce high quality client/public deliverables communicating complex data clearly.
• Contribute to bids and propose innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated outcomes.
• Promote a safety-first culture in line with policy.
