Seen Studios in Shoreditch, London, is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to join a multi-disciplinary team across brand design, strategy and interiors. You will create graphics for retail and experiential spaces, developing brand systems, wayfinding and in-store communications.

The role requires a senior designer with strong ideation skills, client-facing experience and the ability to lead junior team members. Hybrid work Tuesdays–Thursdays in-office with Monday/Friday from home.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience as a senior graphic designer/ art director.
• Client facing experience.
• Experience in managing junior team members.
• Responding to creative briefs with ideation and conceptual design.
• Open to adapting to and absorbing company work methods while helping to improve standards.
• The ability to produce graphics schedules and sign off print proofs.
• The ability to work with producers and print vendors to execute print media.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute high-quality graphics across print and digital media for experiential spaces and retail spaces.
• Adept at creating graphic visual centres and systems for graphic strategies (Wayfinding, instore communication, visual centre hierarchy).
• Technically execute print for production, and create simple motion graphics.
• Maintain brand assets and work with the studio to develop concepts and solutions.
• Present strong design narratives to clients and manage creative briefs from start to finish.

About the role:

An award-winning retail design agency who partners with leading retailers and consumer brands across brand design, strategy and interiors are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join their talented team. You will be working with a diverse range of exciting brands across culture, fashion, sports, and technology this busy studio is looking for someone who can effectively work across the creative solutions for retail, brand experience and brand communications projects, working with the internal and external team to realize work from concept to completion.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Design and execute high-quality graphics across various formats – print and digital media for experiential spaces and retail spaces.
• Adept at creating graphic visual centres and systems for graphic strategies – ie. Wayfinding/ instore communication/ visual centre hierarchy
• Technically execute print for production, and competent in creating simple motion graphics.
• Possesses the ability to create and maintain brand assets.
• Working alongside the studio team to develop new concepts and develop strong creative solutions
• Delivers strong design presentations with compelling narratives to clients using existing tools and design approach
• Take ownership of creative challenges from brief to delivery including presenting and developing client relationships
• Demonstrate strong industry knowledge and expertise.
• Work closely with the creative and account management teams to exceed client expectations, helping to deliver high quality design work.
• Maintains consistently high-quality design standards on all projects.
• Attends / inputs into creative briefs, pitches and brainstorms and supports on the agency’s creative output.
• Stays up to date on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies in both graphic and motion design. Continuously experiments with new techniques and styles to keep designs fresh and innovative.

Desired skills and experience:

• 8+ years experience as a senior graphic designer/ art director
• Client facing experience
• Experience in managing junior team members
• Candidate must have experience in responding to creative briefs with a strong mind for ideation and conceptual design
• Proficient in Adobe CS, Miro and Figma
• An education and passion for Graphic Communication.
• Open minded and willing to adapt to, and absorb company work methods whilst being eager and motivated in helping to improve standards as part of a group decision
• The ability to produce graphics schedules and sign off print proofs
• The ability to work with producers and print vendors to execute print media
• An attention to detail and ability to work in a highly productive environment
