Job summary

Neo4j is seeking a hands-on, mid-to-senior engineer to join the team behind Neo4j Graph Analytics for Snowflake. You’ll work on a containerized Java + Python runtime inside Snowflake, building analytics that run inside customer environments.

You will partner with data engineers and data scientists to ship scalable features, optimize the SQL-facing API, and own the build and deployment pipelines in a remote-first, collaborative setup.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience shipping production software.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data warehouses.
• Proficiency in Java or Python; comfortable in both.
• DevOps mindset: ownership of build pipelines, containers, and releases.
• Experience designing for performance, scalability, and cost on cloud infra.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the Neo4j Graph Analytics for Snowflake application.
• Design and improve SQL-facing API: stored procedures, UDFs.
• Own build, release, and deployment pipeline: Snowflake CLI, Gradle, containers, runtimes.
• Improve platform security posture: caller rights, restricted caller's rights, grants, image scanning.
• Collaborate with customers and Solution Engineers to turn requirements into features.
• Contribute to operational excellence: runbooks, release processes, observability, dev environments.
