Job summary

Neo4j Inc is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Graph Analytics in London. In this role, you will enhance the Graph Analytics for Snowflake app, integrating Neo4j Graph Data Science directly into the Snowflake platform.

Your responsibilities include building and owning the application, improving the SQL-facing API, and ensuring the platform's security. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in production-quality software and strong skills in SQL, Java, or Python.

Bonus points for experience with Snowflake and Docker. This position offers a dynamic role in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience building and shipping production-quality software.
• Strong SQL skills and real experience integrating with cloud data warehouses.
• Solid grounding in at least one of Java or Python.
• A genuine DevOps mindset comfortable owning build pipelines and releases.
• Experience designing software for performance, scalability, and predictable cost on cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the Neo4j Graph Analytics for Snowflake application.
• Design and improve the SQL-facing API: stored procedures, UDFs.
• Own significant parts of the build, release, and deployment pipeline.
• Improve the platform’s security posture.
• Collaborate with customers and Solution Engineers to turn requirements into scalable features.
• Contribute to operational excellence in observability and reproducible environments.
