Job summary

The Cardiff-based fintech is seeking a Senior Go Developer to join a small, experienced engineering team. This backend-only role focuses on a core calculation engine handling large volumes of financial data.

You'll build and optimise services in Go, design for scalability and low latency, and collaborate on system architecture and infrastructure decisions with a senior team, including integration with a PHP Laravel presentation layer.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial Go experience is required.
• Experience in fintech, financial services, or data-intensive environments is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of API design and system architecture is essential.
• Performance tuning and scalable design are important for this role.
• Owns critical components end-to-end, not just delivering to a spec.

A Cardiff-based fintech working in private markets is looking for a senior Go developer to join a small, experienced engineering team. The platform handles large volumes of financial data.

This is a backend-only role focused on a core calculation engine. No frontend work.

What you'll be doing
