Job summary

CrossTech is seeking a Senior Backend Go Engineer to evolve a large legacy platform into a set of independent, dependable services. You will own production Go services, guide migration, and ensure delivery against demanding client commitments while scaling to new use cases and markets.

You will work with engineering, computer vision, product and delivery teams to translate contractual needs into realistic technical plans and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Substantial backend engineering experience with ownership of production services.
• Strong Go expertise with well-tested services.
• Experience with distributed, event-driven systems and idempotent processing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve backend services with clear domain boundaries and stable interfaces.
• Build high-throughput pipelines for large video, imagery, geospatial data across cloud boundaries.
• Design event-driven workflows with delivery guarantees, retries and safe replay.
• Make platform observable with metrics, tracing, logs, dashboards and SLOs.
• Improve PostgreSQL-backed services with sound schema design and indexing.
• Own production services: deployment, monitoring, incident response and RCA.
