Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services (Uk) Plc seeks a senior waste management leader to oversee a large multi-site portfolio, driving performance, profitability and growth. You will embed a safety-first culture, manage budgets and forecast accuracy, and lead and develop operations teams while advancing client relationships and service quality.

You will identify renewal opportunities, deliver innovative solutions, and drive continuous improvement across the portfolio, leveraging environmental expertise

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-site waste management operations.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen with P&L accountability.
• Proven ability to drive contract renewal and growth.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation and HSE requirements.
• Track record of building client relationships at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead a large, multi-site Total Waste Management contract portfolio with accountability for performance and growth.
• Embed strong Health & Safety, compliance and environmental culture across sites and teams.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, P&L and commercial risk with proactive actions.
• Lead, coach and develop managers and operational teams to a high-performing culture.
• Build client relationships, lead service reviews and resolve issues.
• Identify renewals and deliver additional services to improve value and retention.
• Drive continuous improvement and sustainability across the portfolio.
