Job summary

ASOS is seeking an experienced payroll professional to join the PX Shared Service team, deputising for the team leader during leave and handling day-to-day queries. You will manage end-to-end payroll processing for UK and international payrolls, ensure changes are implemented, train the team, and drive system improvements while upholding ASOS's values.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in payroll processing and administration across UK and/or international payrolls.
• In-house payroll system experience, Workday preferred.
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation, tax, pensions, and compliance.
• End-to-end payroll cycle management and complex queries resolution.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing a payroll team.
• Collaborative with PX Operations, Tax, Finance and third parties.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end in-house payroll processing for multiple countries.
• Ensure changes in local legislation are captured across systems.
• Act as escalation point for day-to-day payroll queries.
• Train the wider PX team to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvements and automate manual processes.
• Coordinate with Tech to implement payroll changes in systems.
• Collaborate with PX, Finance, Treasury and Legal on data inputs.
• Support Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives.
• Ensure payroll processes are efficient with high customer service standards.
