Job summary

Pick Everard is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Environmental discipline in the UK. You will work within a national team, delivering geotechnical design and ground investigations, while developing technical expertise and progressing towards Chartered status.

You’ll mentor juniors, manage project delivery and budgets, and build strong client relationships, ensuring work meets EC7 and CD 622 standards on a range of projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or Geotechnics with MSc in Geotechnics.
• Proven geotechnical design experience across diverse projects.
• Understanding of UK geological conditions.
• Knowledge of CDM 2015 responsibilities for Designers.
• Aiming for Chartered status with ICE or the Geological Society.

Responsibilities

• Produce desk studies, ground investigation reports and geotechnical design reports per EC7 and CD 622.
• Scope, specify and supervise ground investigations as required.
• Deliver robust geotechnical designs for varied projects within Eurocodes.
• Mentor and guide junior team members for their development.
• Manage projects, budgets and ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Build strong client relationships and communicate with stakeholders.
