• Soil, rock, water sampling and in-house UKAS accredited testing
• Geotechnical consulting

About the Role

We are currently looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer required for a thriving company, based in the vibrant city of Cambridge. In this permanent role, you'll be a key player in the geotechnical engineering division, working on a diverse range of site investigation projects across East Anglia, the south of England, and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a talented team of engineers on ground investigation projects
• Utilize your strong technical skills to provide comprehensive geotechnical assessments
• Contribute to the growth and success of our clients Cambridge office

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant subject, with a master's degree preferred
• Chartered geologist or working towards chartership
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in geotechnical site investigation

Required Skills

• Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software, such as PLAXIS
• Extensive experience in conducting routine geotechnical assessments, including foundation recommendations, ground improvement and earthworks methods, slope stability, and settlement modeling
• Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of collaborating with colleagues and supervising junior engineers
• Ability to provide well-written technical reports and advice on geotechnical engineering aspects
• Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices
