Job summary

Tyréns AKT in London is seeking a highly motivated Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer to lead the geotechnical aspects of design projects from inception to completion in commercial, health, retail, industrial, education and other sectors.

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will supervise and train junior engineers, liaise with the structural design team, attend project meetings and contribute to the management of projects and resourcing.

Qualifications

• Working towards or ideally Chartered Engineer, CEng MICE.
• A good degree in Geotechnical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Produce specifications for site investigation works and testing.
• Produce geotechnical and geoenvironmental interpretative reports based on site data.
• Apply geotechnical analysis methods across soils, piles and retaining structures.
• Incorporate soil-structure interaction within analyses (PLAXIS 3D preferred).
• Coordinate with design teams and manage project resourcing.
