Coffey Geotechnics, A Tetra Tech Company in Harrogate is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead technically challenging infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally. You will apply advanced design, ground investigations and site supervision to deliver robust, practical geotechnical solutions.

You’ll mentor junior engineers, manage project deliverables, and contribute to client proposals while ensuring high standards of safety and professional practice.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology with geotechnical consultancy experience.
• Postgraduate qualification advantageous; Chartered status desirable.
• Driving licence and CSCS certification preferred; modelling software valued.

Responsibilities

• Deliver geotechnical design from investigation to earthworks.
• Assess slopes, foundations and ground movements on projects.
• Provide site supervision and practical solutions.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and support proposals.
