Job summary

Tetra Tech Europe is seeking a Senior Geospatial Surveyor to lead delivery of geospatial surveying projects across the UK, mentoring junior surveyors and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical excellence and client satisfaction.

This role combines site work and office collaboration within a flexible hybrid pattern, using AutoCAD, Leica Infinity and GNSS workflows to produce accurate deliverables while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering geospatial surveying projects within a consultancy or engineering environment.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Leica Infinity and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Total Station and GNSS equipment.
• Proven experience delivering topographical surveys and managing survey data.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to lead projects independently.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Leading geospatial surveying projects from planning through to successful delivery.
• Managing and undertaking topographical, setting out, laser scanning, levelling and measured building surveys.
• Processing, analysing and interpreting complex survey data to produce accurate, high-quality deliverables.
• Producing CAD drawings and survey outputs using industry-leading software.
• Acting as a technical lead on projects, providing guidance and support to junior surveyors.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to add value.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across a broad range of engineering and environmental projects.
• Ensuring all work is delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with quality standards.
