Job summary

Talent Search Pro in Sheffield, UK seeks a Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer to lead geo-environmental and contaminated land projects from inception to completion. Design, procure and supervise site investigations and remediation, and review Phase 1/2 reports, remediation strategies and verification reports.

With 5+ years UK consultancy experience and Chartered status, you will manage budgets, client relationships, bids, and ensure health, safety and quality standards across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UK consultancy experience in geo-environmental or contaminated land.
• Strong knowledge of UK contaminated land legislation and guidance.
• Experience in site investigation, remediation and risk assessment.
• Chartered status / Certified Engineering Geologist.
• Full UK driving licence.
• UK work authorisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead geo-environmental and contaminated land projects from inception to completion.
• Design, procure and supervise site investigations and remediation.
• Prepare and review Phase 1 and Phase 2 reports, remediation strategies and verification reports.
• Conduct GQRA/DQRA and interpret site investigation data.
• Manage project budgets, programmes, resources and delivery.
• Provide technical leadership, quality assurance and mentoring.
• Manage client relationships and support business development, bids and tenders.
• Ensure health and safety, environmental and quality compliance.
