The engineer will oversee project delivery, manage procurement and scheduling, and conduct essential ground investigations. Qualifications

• Experience in planning, managing, supervising ground investigation data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from inception to completion, including procurement and scheduling.
• Conduct phase 1 and phase 2 ground investigations, produce interpretive reports, and risk assessments.

Job description

A bespoke Geotechnical/Geo-Environmental Consultancy is seeking a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer to join the team and lead projects across large-scale building, industrial, warehouse, remediation, and earthworks schemes.

As a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects from inception to completion, including procurement, costing, scheduling, and reporting.

Your technical responsibilities will encompass both Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical delivery, such as conducting phase 1 and phase 2 ground investigations, interpretive reporting, risk assessments, remedial methods, validations, geotechnical foundation design and calculations, and earthwork specifications.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in environmental science or engineering, with an MSc being advantageous.
• A proven track record in delivering geo-environmental and/or geotechnical ground investigation projects.
• Experience in planning, managing, supervising, and interpreting ground investigation data related to contamination and geotechnical aspects.
