Job summary

SLR Consulting is seeking a Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant for its offices in Edinburgh or Glasgow. The successful candidate will deliver projects to a high standard, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the remediation strategies for various projects.

We have a great opportunity for a Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant based in our Edinburgh or Glasgow office.The Land Quality and Remediation team undertakes a broad and diverse range of geo-environmental, geological, and geotechnical projects across all of SLR's key sectors. The position offered forms part of the continued expansion of the team due to a strong pipeline of exciting projects and comes with the opportunity for career progression. This is a hybrid role which can be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow offices.**The role**The successful candidate shall be responsible for delivering projects to a high standard, mentoring junior staff, and supporting innovation and continuous development of the team and output. This key role requires close collaboration with the senior members of the team and with technical specialists in other disciplines. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to, design and management of ground investigation and monitoring, interpretative reporting including Preliminary Risk Assessments and Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical Assessments, production of Remediation Strategies, and supervision and validation of remedial works.SLR are global leaders in Sustainability Solutions, helping our clients achieve their sustainability goals.
