Job summary

Chubb Ltd. is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of generative AI solutions across underwriting, claims, and customer service.

You will work at the intersection of software engineering and applied AI, delivering production-grade systems on Azure and Databricks. You will mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and drive AI features that address real insurance business problems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with strong design fundamentals.
• Proven track record shipping production AI/ML systems.
• Strong Python production backend skills.
• Hands-on with LLMs and Azure/OpenAI services.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS.
• Experience with LangGraph/LangChain and retrieval/search apps.
• Knowledge of Azure AI Search and Databricks is a plus.
• Mentoring and leading technical discussions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end generative AI applications and workflows.
• Define scalable, secure architectures for production AI solutions.
• Develop backend APIs with FastAPI and containerize with Docker.
• Own search and retrieval solutions using Azure AI Search and MongoDB.
• Work in Azure cloud with OpenAI services and data platform.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices.
• Shape AI roadmap and governance across the org.
