Role Overview:

KPMG UK seeks a Senior GenAI Engineer to join our Data & AI team. You will contribute to developing and deploying generative AI models, support client project delivery, and collaborate on impactful AI solutions. You will design AI systems, manage teams, and ensure effective AI model integration into client environments while adhering to data governance and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. AI Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement generative AI models to solve client challenges. Collaborate with senior engineers and data scientists to build solutions aligned with business goals. Participate in creating PoCs, MVPs, and full AI projects that deliver business impact.
  2. Client Project Delivery & Team Management: Support AI solution delivery, ensuring successful and timely outcomes. Manage and mentor AI engineers and data scientists throughout projects. Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure seamless AI model implementation.
  3. Coding & Implementation: Develop and optimize AI models with high-quality, production-ready code. Use tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Databricks, and Snowflake for deployment in cloud environments. Manage AI model integration, version control, and CI/CD processes.
  4. Data Management & Integration: Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure smooth data flow and management. Maintain data quality and consistency, adhering to data governance, security, and privacy standards, especially with sensitive data.
  5. Business Development & Practice Building: Identify AI opportunities, support feasibility studies, and develop tailored data strategies. Contribute to RFPs, proposals, and demos, demonstrating AI value. Help grow KPMG's AI capabilities by introducing innovative ideas.
  6. Ethical and Secure AI Deployment: Ensure AI models and data processing comply with KPMG’s governance policies and regulations. Implement best practices for data privacy, security, and ethical AI. Contribute to guidelines for secure data handling in AI projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant professional experience or certifications in AI/ML are advantageous.
