Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Band 7 General Sonographer to join our team in Cardiff. This role offers a competitive pay rate of £55-£60 per hour, with working hours from 08:00 am to 04:00 pm, with potential shifts extending to 06:00 pm or 08:00 pm.

The position is set to start as soon as possible and will initially run for 6 months, with the possibility of extensions. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated sonographer to work in a dynamic healthcare environment,

Qualifications

• Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent with a postgraduate diploma in Medical Ultrasound.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Extensive ultrasound imaging experience, preferably at Band 7 level.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound scans to support diagnosis and treatment.
• Operate advanced ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images.
• Report findings with clear documentation.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
