Job summary

Rutherford Briant Recruitment seeks a General Practice Senior Manager to lead a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs and private clients. You will oversee statutory accounts, management accounts, and tax returns, while delivering strategic advisory and tax planning.

You will combine technical accounting expertise with client relationships and staff development, taking a lead role in practice leadership and service growth.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent.
• Experience managing a varied portfolio of clients.
• Broad technical knowledge across accounts preparation, corporation tax, and personal tax.
• Experience advising owner-managed businesses, SMEs, directors, and shareholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and private clients, acting as their main point of contact
• Oversee the preparation and review of statutory accounts, management accounts, and tax returns
• Provide personal and business tax advice, including tax planning for individuals, directors, shareholders, and owner-managed businesses
• Deliver commercial and strategic advisory support, including cash flow planning, business growth, restructuring, and succession planning
