Qualifications

• Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice.
• MBBS or equivalent.
• Substantive posts – must be entered on the Specialist Register (or entry within 6 months).
• MRCPCH.
• Completed CCT in Paediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-led care across acute, inpatient and ambulatory paediatric services.
• Participate in the paediatric on-call rota and attend daily handovers.
• Develop and deliver general paediatric services in line with national standards.
• Contribute to safeguarding, reporting and clinical governance duties.
• Teach and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate learners; contribute to audit and quality improvement.
