Job summary

IO Associates is seeking experienced GCP Data Engineers to design and deliver scalable cloud data platforms. Roles include Senior and Principal levels, with hybrid work and 2 days per week onsite in Bristol, London, or Manchester.

Candidates should have hands-on GCP experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer, and be capable of leading technical delivery and engaging with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience delivering production-grade GCP data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of batch/streaming pipelines and modern data architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control in cloud environments.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to translate business goals into technical designs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver core GCP solutions across BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub.
• Automate and orchestrate data workflows with Cloud Composer and CI/CD.
• Ensure data quality and governance for downstream analytics.
• Lead technical delivery and influence architecture and code quality across teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and align stakeholders with technical decisions.
