A contemporary luxury womenswear brand is seeking a Senior Garment Technologist to oversee product development from prototype to delivery. This role requires collaboration with design and production teams while managing technical details to ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in luxury retail, supplier, or manufacturer.
• Excellent knowledge of garment construction, pattern cutting, fitting, and grading.
• Strong knowledge of women’s RTW at a luxury level.

Responsibilities

• Manage tech packs for new styles, including consumption and construction notes.
• Collaborate with the production team to develop CADs and prototypes.
• Preempt and resolve potential production issues in line with the critical path.

Fella and Jones are delighted to partner with this global contemporary luxury womenswear brand in their search for a Senior Garment Technologist. You will work closely with the in-house team and external manufacturers from prototype to delivery, collaborating with designers daily to develop products and manage fit meetings.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will work closely with the Head of Design and other key product and sales teams to ensure all technical aspects are properly executed.

• Manage tech packs for new styles, including consumption and construction notes
• Collaborate with the production team to develop CADs and prototypes
• Possess excellent knowledge of garment construction, pattern cutting, fitting, and grading
• Understand testing processes, analyze test reports, and oversee garment care
• Have strong knowledge of women’s RTW, ideally at a luxury level
• Preempt and resolve potential production issues in line with the critical path
• Extensive experience working within a luxury retailer, supplier, or manufacturer
