Job Description:

Fella and Jones are partnering with a global contemporary luxury womenswear brand in London to find a Senior Garment Technologist. The successful candidate will work closely with the in-house team and external manufacturers from prototype to delivery, collaborating with designers on a daily basis to develop products and manage fit meetings.

Reporting to the Commercial Director and working closely with the Head of Design and other product/sales teams, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing tech packs for new styles, including consumptions and construction notes.
  2. Collaborating with the production team to develop CADs and prototypes.
  3. Applying excellent knowledge of garment construction, pattern cutting, fitting, and grading.
  4. Understanding testing processes, analyzing test reports, and garment care.
  5. Having strong knowledge of women’s RTW, ideally at a luxury level.
  6. Pre-empting and resolving potential production issues in line with the critical path.
  7. Having significant experience within a luxury retailer, supplier, or manufacturer.
