In our innovative, multi-threaded engine, the Senior Gameplay Animation Programmer plays a key role in delivering high-fidelity animated characters, vehicles, and environments within a large-scale interactive universe.

This role involves working on advanced features such as customizable run-time rigged faces with our DNA system, seamless motion matching with motion-captured data, and physicalized reactions combined with animation-driven ragdolls. Our focus is on technological innovation, scalability, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities of a Senior Gameplay Animation Programmer include:

• Designing and implementing reliable, scalable, and robust code.
• Documenting and peer reviewing technical designs across multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborating with team members, mentoring, and working with cross-functional disciplines to develop animation systems.
• Working closely with animators to optimize asset pipelines, provide procedural solutions, manage complex transitions, and ensure high fidelity results. Promoting engineering practices and innovation.

Ideal candidates will have:

• A passion for game development and a keen interest in animation.
• Proficiency in C++, 3D math, and 3D animation techniques such as procedural solutions, run-time rigging, and optimization.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, co-located team environment.
• Approachability and good communication skills for explaining technical solutions to all disciplines.
