Job description

Join a small and experienced team in the heart of London to produce exciting games for millions of passionate Rick and Morty fans. Big Pixel Studios (a Time Warner company) is looking for a creative and motivated individual to contribute to the success of Pocket Mortys and upcoming titles.

Role

As a generalist, you'll create assets across all aspects of the games and adapt to multiple disciplines. Produce concepts, final production art, and marketing materials. Inject humour and fun into sci-fi characters, environments, and game assets.

Main Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Creative Director and Product Lead on new game concepts and prototypes.
• Create imaginative designs of characters and worlds.
• Brainstorm ideas for content and gameplay features.
• Produce artwork for assets including 2D sprites, UI, and animations.
• Define and maintain visual style consistency.
• Possess graphic design experience, preferably in the games industry.
• Work creatively in multiple art styles.
• Have strong graphic and UI design skills.
• Be capable of creating vector art using Adobe Illustrator.
• Understand common structures in game art.
• Maintain awareness of popular culture, especially sci-fi.
• Animation skills are a strong plus.
• Knowledge of 3D art is desirable.
• Have an interest in popular science.
• Be a fan of pop culture, Rick and Morty, and adult humour.
