Role Overview / Responsibilities

• Hands-on technical implementation of FX trading systems.
• Collaborate with FX Trading Technology teams to implement solutions that benefit the business.
• This role does not involve budget responsibility.
• Design and develop system architecture, work with end-users, and enhance the quality of deliverables.
• Ensure staff follows Citi policies and procedures, maintaining documentation and filings.
• Contribute to defining and implementing best practices and processes, ensuring transparency and consistency.
• Work directly with trading and quantitative teams.

Key Skills and Experience

• Proven understanding of FX, highly preferred.
• Knowledge of ultra low-latency development practices.
• Experience in building new systems, replacing legacy systems, and renovating existing systems.
• Systems knowledge (software, hardware, networks) for solution definition and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills, confident in engaging at all levels.
• Hands-on engineering confidence, capable of deep diving into codebases for analysis and feedback.
• Awareness of industry trends and technological advancements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master's preferred, or proven equivalent experience.
