Job summary

ICG in London, St Paul’s, is seeking a Principal/Director to lead Fund Structuring & Legal. You will structure and close investments in CLOs, liquid credit funds and related vehicles, coordinating with internal teams and external counsel.

The role requires a qualified structured finance lawyer with 5+ years’ PQE, strong interpersonal skills, and experience in an international setting. A dynamic, fast‑growing firm environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Qualified structured finance lawyer with PQE of 5+ years.
• Experience in a major law firm in a structured finance team.
• Experience with liquid credit funds is preferable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Advising on CLO formations and related mandates, leading on CLOs and liquid credit funds.
• Managing external counsel and key documentation ahead of CLO or fund launches; negotiating side letters and closing investors.
• Contributing to product approval processes and drafting PPMs.
• Acting as internal point of contact for Marketing, Client Relations, and portfolio managers.
• Coordinating with Fund Operations to ensure overlapping matters are captured and resolved.
