Job summary

Intermediate Capital Group seeks a Director, Fund Structuring & Legal in London to lead the structuring, negotiation and closing of investors into CLOs, liquid credit funds and related vehicles. You will work with internal teams and external counsel across jurisdictions.

The role requires a qualified structured finance lawyer with at least five years PQE, preferably with big-firm or asset-management background, and excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills to operate in a fast-changing

Qualifications

Qualified structured finance lawyer with at least 5 years' PQE.
Post-qualification experience with a major law firm in a structured finance team.
Experience with liquid credit funds is preferable but not mandatory.
Experience in working within an international team would be a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Advising on CLO formations with internal tax team and external counsel, leading on CLOs, liquid credit funds and related mandates.
Managing external counsel and delivery of key documentation ahead of a CLO or fund launch and negotiating side letters and investor closings.
Contributing to product approval processes and drafting PPMs.
Acting as an internal point of contact for Marketing & Client Relations staff and portfolio managers.
Acting as a general contact for inbound questions from across the firm on strategies.
Working closely with Fund Operations to ensure overlapping matters are captured.
Becoming a trusted contact and advisor for internal teams.
