Job summary

Maven Partners is expanding its Guernsey team and seeks an experienced Senior Manager, Fund Accountant. The role focuses on accurate fund accounting, financial statements, and regulatory reporting, with mentoring responsibilities for junior staff.

Qualifications

• ACCA or ACA qualification required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in fund accounting at a senior level.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping of fund and corporate structures.
• Prepare financial statements and deliver investor, client and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate accounting matters across portfolio of fund structures including board and shareholder meetings.
• Oversee routine and complex fund accounting activities with accuracy and compliance.
• Build strong relationships with clients, advisors and auditors and provide high standard of service.
• Support establishment of new structures and transitions of new business.
• Mentor and allocate work to junior team members; guide and support the team.
• Drive process improvements and contribute to accounting policies, procedures and technology.
