Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Oversee fund level accounting and financial reporting.
  • Prepare internal management information including profit and loss balance sheet and cash flow.
  • Oversee treasury operations including cash flow bank reconciliations payment waterfalls and foreign exchange.
  • Support investor and lender reporting compliance certificates and audit preparation.
  • Manage accounts payable and review contracts.
  • Coordinate with third party providers and support ongoing financial operations and controls.

Job description

Our client, a specialist credit investor focused on providing bespoke capital solutions to UK mid market businesses, is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their high performing team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with experience in private credit, lending, or private equity to step into a broad and impactful role covering everything from treasury operations and MI reporting to audit prep and investor support.

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll work at the intersection of fund and corporate finance contributing to strategic financial decision making, managing lender and borrower relationships, and playing a key role in the smooth operation of a dynamic credit fund.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee fund level accounting and financial reporting
  • Prepare internal management information including profit and loss balance sheet and cash flow
  • Oversee treasury operations including cash flow bank reconciliations payment waterfalls and foreign exchange
  • Support investor and lender reporting compliance certificates and audit preparation
  • Manage accounts payable and review contracts
  • Coordinate with third party providers and support ongoing financial operations and controls

Requirements
  • ACA ACCA or CIMA Qualified Accountant
  • Experience in fund accounting within private debt, credit, private equity or real estate
  • London based or able to work from the office 1 to 2 days per week

  • Experience with AML and KYC investor reporting or fundraising
  • Exposure to third party service providers such as accounting payroll or expense software
  • A proactive mindset suited to a lean entrepreneurial team
