Senior Functional Consultant (SD) - Krailling, Munich - Permanent opportunity
I am currently supporting a global industrial 3D printing provider on their search for a Senior Functional Consultant to join their Sales team in Krailling, Munich on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

1. Working with their cutting-edge SAP landscapes, you will bring significant value for all their product teams, management, and internal clients.
2. As you accompany the complete process from requirements analysis to implementation, you will assist their sales and service teams worldwide in implementing or improving their technological solutions.
3. You will lead national or international system introductions or release changes, and improvements of existing solutions as a responsible project manager in both agile and traditional projects whilst working closely with functional departments, IT Operations, and external partners.
4. You will advise on process design and process optimisation as well as the digitalisation, automation, and visualisation of business processes.
5. You will be the contact person for employees with questions about sales and service systems and support of the systems and architecture, especially incident and change management and 2nd level support.
6. In addition to managing application development and performing system tests, you will also parameterize the system and create and update technical application documentation.
7. You will support in defining the IT architecture and software design of sales and service standard software solutions and interfaces and connections.

Experience required:

1. Minimum of 5 years of professional SAP experience in one or more of the following: SAP SD, SAP LE, SAP GTS, or PI/PO.
2. Several years of sound professional experience as a partial or complete project manager in classic and agile IT organization or implementation projects, good knowledge of the methods and tools of IT project management and agile process models (Scrum, V-model).
3. Good process knowledge in the field of mechanical engineering / service as well as very good knowledge of the requirements, strategy, organization, and technical development of Sales/Service functional departments.
4. Ideally have experience with the connection of cloud sales or service portals, eCommerce solutions.
5. You are familiar with business process mapping, requirements gathering and documentation, requirements management (prioritisation, classification, etc), functional specification writing, interface specification writing, agile story writing, business case writing, system integrated testing, UAT coordination and business stakeholder management.
6. Development experience in RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Reports, and workflow).
7. Knowledge working with any integration technologies such as IDOC, OData, APIs, Web Services, SAP CPI, AIF, SAP Gateway.
8. Can work well in a virtual and distributed team-based environment and able to work under pressure with committed deadlines.
9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
10. A degree in computer science or related subject or equivalent experience.
