The Opportunity

We’re seeking a talented Functional Consultant to join our Digital team with initial focus on supporting initiatives for Switched On Building. In this pivotal role, you will support the implementation of our Procore construction management solution alongside build out of core Salesforce ERP functionality. You will be part of a team progressing digital transformation within our construction operations ensuring seamless integration with our broader group digital ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

  • Be an integral team member across the design, configuration, testing, and rollout of Procore and Salesforce solutions tailored to trades operations, spanning CRM, tendering, construction project and work order management, trade scheduling and dispatch.
  • Provide expert support and troubleshooting for users, resolving complex issues and liaising with colleagues and vendors as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with trades professionals, project managers, and developers to translate real-world construction needs into practical digital solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimise business processes and digital workflows.
  • Educate and upskill users on new ways of working, supporting change management and adoption across the business.
  • Champion Switched On’s values, prioritising wellbeing, teamwork, and customer aroha in everything you do.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Functional Consultant, Business-Data-Systems Analyst, or similar role—ideally with hands-on expertise in Procore and Salesforce or equivalent construction and BPM management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of trades operations, workforce scheduling, and construction project management.
  • Excellent grasp of software development lifecycles (SDLC), digital solution delivery, data models and functional design as well as user support.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, especially trades professionals.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline preferred; certifications (ITIL, PMP, Procore) highly regarded.
