Job summary

Applied Intuition UK is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer in London to join our defence‑focused UK team. You will be the first dedicated fullstack engineer, shaping user‑facing products and the services behind them, across TypeScript, Go and Python.

You will design interfaces for data-heavy workflows, collaborate with designers and product managers, and ensure security is built in from the start. Expect an in‑office culture with occasional flexibility for programme needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering field.
• 5+ years of hands-on fullstack experience shipping and supporting production web applications.
• Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, or another modern front-end framework, with strong opinions on data-heavy interfaces.
• Experience with TypeScript, Go and Python; ability to own the full stack.
• Experience collaborating with designers and product managers to translate requirements into products.
• Security-focused development; familiarity with containerized environments on Linux.

Responsibilities

• Take new products from concept through to production, owning technical and product decisions.
• Build features end-to-end from UI to API and data layers.
• Set front-end foundations for UK products with shared components and design language.
• Decide when new capabilities should stand alone or be integrated into core products.
• Incorporate field learnings into broader product roadmaps.
