Thrive is hiring a Senior or Senior Fullstack Sales Engineer to join our growing Engineering team — someone who can bridge the gap between our world-class platform and the complex technical needs of our largest enterprise prospects.
This role is hands-on, fast-paced and commercially critical. You’ll work closely with our Founder & CEO, Chief Growth & Innovation Officer, Chief Product & Technology Officer and senior engineering leads to rapidly unlock new business with technical excellence — whether that’s through bespoke integrations, prototypes, or solving for enterprise IT needs.
Our customer base includes Vodafone, Frasers Group, and Volvo, and this role will be at the heart of how we win and expand our biggest, most strategic accounts
• Partner with enterprise prospects to unpack their architecture, challenges and integration needs.
• Rapidly prototype and build production-ready code to support sales cycles — helping land new logos or expand within existing accounts.
• Work side-by-side with Sales, Product and Customer teams to remove technical blockers and design elegant, scalable solutions.
• Lead technical deep-dives, architecture reviews and solution design sessions with customer engineers and stakeholders.
• Maintain a growing suite of integration templates, demo assets and technical artefacts used across the commercial team.
• Drop into our production stack as needed — contributing code or pairing with engineers for strategic customer onboarding.
• Be the technical authority in the room — credible with CTOs, procurement teams and engineers alike.
Must-haves
• 8+ years hands-on experience in fullstack development: NodeJS, React, TypeScript, AWS.
• A strong blend of technical skill and commercial judgement — able to operate across pre-sales, prototyping and light production.
• Outstanding communication skills — you’re equally at home in a sales pitch, architecture call, or live demo.
• Experience working with large, complex enterprise customers in B2B SaaS.
• Ability to balance speed and scale — writing high-quality code quickly, but never sloppily.
• Comfortable working autonomously while staying tightly aligned with Engineering, Sales and Leadership.
Bonus if you have:
• Experience with SSO, SCIM, HRIS, L&D systems or enterprise middleware.
• Exposure to building for security-sensitive, compliance-heavy customers.
