About the team and the role:

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Known Origin team based in Manchester. You will report directly to the Tech Lead within your squad and work closely with the wider engineering team.

What you will accomplish:

• Build high-availability and automated infrastructure provisioning and monitoring, including CI/CD solutions, and implement standard processes for the wider product suite.
• Create highly scalable products using a combination of cloud infrastructure and Web 3.0 native infrastructure.
• Engineer and deliver solutions capable of onboarding millions of users into the Web 3.0 space.
• Deliver decentralized solutions that can handle Web 2.0 scale while remaining open to future Web 3.0 technologies.
• Be embedded within a multi-functional squad comprising engineers, product managers, and user experience designers.
• Participate in activities and workshops, as squads are largely autonomous and self-organizing.
• Design and deliver technology changes through the tech stack in collaboration with the team.
• Work closely with the community to identify, build, and release features.
• Your work will empower a new generation of creators to monetize their creativity in previously impossible ways.

What you will bring:

• 5+ years of experience building software solutions.
• 1-5+ years of experience with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and related technologies.
• Exposure to cloud services like Google Cloud and AWS.
• Experience building highly available and scalable HTTP RESTful APIs.
• Experience developing highly available database solutions.
• Blockchain experience is desirable; familiarity with the Web 3.0 stack and related technologies is a plus.
