Corgi, a London-based insurer tech, is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to lead design and development of systems powering our insurance operations. You will own major initiatives across underwriting, claims, finance, compliance, and internal tooling, collaborating with leadership to build scalable software with high ownership.

Based in our London office, you'll mentor engineers, shape engineering practices, and partner with operations and product teams to automate complex workflows,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering work experience.
• Proficient in Typescript, Python, React, FastAPI, Django, Flask and AWS.
• Strong design of distributed systems and scalable applications.
• Experience owning production systems and architectural decisions.
• Familiar with cloud infrastructure, APIs, databases and modern practices.

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to lead the design and development of the systems that power our insurance companies and internal operations.

You will own large technical initiatives across underwriting, claims, finance, compliance, and internal tooling. You'll work directly with leadership, product, and operations teams to build software that eliminates manual work and enables the company to scale. This role is for someone who wants significant ownership, enjoys solving complex problems, and can independently drive projects from concept to production.

This role is based in our London office.

• Built significant personal, startup, or professional projects.
• Experience in fintech, insurance, workflow automation, or other complex operational businesses is helpful but not required.
