The Opportunity

We develop software for the Rail Retail market, including systems for selling UK train tickets online and via kiosks. We aim to replace outdated systems with modern, reliable solutions. We seek an enthusiastic, organized, innovative, and process-driven team member.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Architects to design future systems
• Work with the CTO team to ensure quality standards
• Lead the team, provide direction, and implement strategies
• Write clean, secure, test-driven code
• Collaborate with peers inside and outside your team
• Develop expertise in rail retail business and serve as a contact point
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current
• Adopt new technologies and working methods

Who Are We Looking For

We seek big thinkers with passion, a can-do attitude, and a desire to learn. Specifically, you should have:

• Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs with .NET Core, VueJS 2/3, and C#, including key design decisions
• Extensive experience in frontend development with VueJS 2/3 or Angular
• Experience with cloud concepts like containerization, AWS Fargate, Lambda
• Experience integrating disparate systems
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps and Pipelines
• Experience designing microservices and macro services
• A curious mindset with a desire to continually enhance your skills
