Job summary

Glass Atlas is seeking an experienced full-stack Shopify Developer to join our Commerce Technology team in Manchester. You will design, build and optimize Shopify and Shopify Plus solutions across storefronts, APIs and integrations, while collaborating with clients and designers to deliver robust ecommerce experiences.

You will work across frontend and backend, using Liquid, JavaScript, REST/GraphQL, and Git, with a focus on performance, accessibility and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience developing Shopify stores for ecommerce clients.
• Strong JavaScript, Liquid, HTML and CSS skills across frontend and backend.
• Experience with Shopify Plus, integrations, REST/GraphQL, webhooks.
• Understanding of ecommerce principles, responsive and accessible design.
• Familiarity with testing, deployment, and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent communication with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Shopify and Shopify Plus solutions across storefronts and apps.
• Develop themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; extend backend services.
• Translate designs into responsive, accessible ecommerce experiences.
• Create reusable frontend components and maintainable backend services.
• Build integrations with third-party platforms using REST/GraphQL and webhooks.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support migrations and replatforming onto Shopify; ensure data integrity.
