You will work on cloud-based integrations, implement RESTful services, collaborate with stakeholders, and help deliver robust solutions within a fast-paced environment.

The position offers hybrid working and a salary of £38,000–£41,000, with opportunities for progression as Castelan evolves

Qualifications

• Minimum four years' commercial Java/J2EE development experience across front-end and back-end.
• Proficient with RESTful services and frameworks such as Struts.
• Other tools include Git, SVN, Eclipse; strong testing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, enhance, and maintain Java/J2EE applications.
• Work across front-end and back-end technologies on varied projects.
• Contribute to design discussions, peer reviews, and documentation.
• Support system integrations, APIs, cloud platforms, and deployments.
• Resolve production issues and deliver robust fixes.
• Create technical documentation for handover and long-term support.
