Job summary

Exact It Resources Ltd is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a fintech client in a Northern Ireland-based, primarily remote role. The ideal candidate will excel in TypeScript, React and Node.js and can deliver full-stack features from user stories through to release.

You will collaborate with Product Managers and Designers, build platform integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, CSV/SFTP and OAuth, and ensure data protection and reliable operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional back-end experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience building production integrations with third-party REST APIs.
• Experience building production CSV and file-based ingestion pipelines.
• Knowledge of data protection practices and handling sensitive data.
• Understanding of asynchronous processing and failure handling in distributed systems.
• Excellent communication, documentation and willingness to share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build features across the full stack in TypeScript, React and Node.js from a well-defined user story through to a working, tested release.
• Collaborate with Product Manager and Product Designers to understand problem context, constraints and acceptance criteria before starting work.
• Build and maintain integrations with platforms alongside the wider engineering team.
• Work hands-on with REST APIs, webhooks, CSV and SFTP file-based integrations and OAuth authentication.
• Verify delivered work with QA and ensure robust data protection and reliable operations.
• Contribute to MongoDB data stores and support asynchronous processing in distributed systems.
