Job summary

A leading technology company in London is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to work on innovative Greenfield projects. This role involves a 50/50 split between backend and frontend development, utilizing a tech stack that includes TypeScript, Elixir, Elm, and AWS. You will have a significant role in a small, agile team, focusing on complex data-centric solutions. The position offers a competitive salary of up to £100k and a hybrid working model, three days in the office per week. Ideal candidates should have a strong educational background and experience in startups.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or similar STEM discipline, achieving a 2.1 or above.
• Experienced software engineer with strong knowledge of best practices and fundamentals.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable taking ownership of projects and mentoring junior team members.
• Strong TypeScript skills with any backend language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, C#).
• Familiar with Elixir, Ember, Elm, Phoenix, LiveView, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker.
• Have experience working in start-ups/SMEs with good business acumen.
• Ideally understand financial markets.
