Job summary

Oliver Bernard is partnering with a well-funded startup building an AI-native platform for private investors to manage portfolios. We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own the full stack from APIs to UI, using React/TypeScript and AWS.

You will collaborate with product and design to ship high-performing interfaces and scalable architectures as the company grows. Hybrid London-based role offering £80–100k, with 3 days per week in the office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production web applications.
• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Familiarity with Next.js and GraphQL.
• Previous startup experience.
• A passion for clean code and intuitive product design.
• Interest in fintechs.

Responsibilities

We are partnering with a well-funded startup that is building an innovative platform empowering private investors to manage their portfolios.

As an AI-native platform on an exciting growth journey, they are seeking Full Stack Engineers to help shape their architecture as they scale.

The Role

You’ll take ownership across the full stack - from designing APIs and data models to crafting seamless, high-performing user interfaces. Working closely with product and design teams, you’ll help bring to life tools that make investing smarter, more transparent, and more sustainable.

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of experience building production web applications


• Solid experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js


• Familiarity with Next.js and GraphQL


• Previous startup experience


• A passion for clean code and intuitive product design


• Interest in fintech's

Nice to Haves

• Comfortable working with tools like Postgres, Prisma, GraphQL, or Next.js


• Hands-on experience with AI or agent frameworks (such as LangChain or LangGraph)


• Experience building something from scratch — whether a side project, startup, or open-source app
