Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Benefits

As software development is brought in-house, we're looking for a talented Lead Full Stack Engineer to take ownership of the technical direction of a modern, cloud-based platform.

This is an exciting opportunity to join at a pivotal stage, helping shape a scalable platform that brings together data, workflows and intelligent automation into a single operating environment. You'll have the opportunity to influence architecture, introduce engineering best practices and play a key role in the platform's long-term success.

The Role As Lead Full Stack Engineer, you'll combine hands-on software engineering with technical leadership, helping shape both the platform and the engineering function.

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading the technical development and architecture of a modern cloud-based platform
• Designing scalable, API-first solutions and system architecture
• Developing backend services using Node.js and Express
• Building modern frontend applications using React and Vite
• Designing and maintaining cloud-native solutions using AWS and DynamoDB
• Developing integrations with third-party systems and APIs
• Driving engineering best practices, code quality and development standards
• Mentoring and supporting other engineers where required
• Working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Contributing to the long-term evolution of the platform, including data-driven features and intelligent automation

About You We're looking for someone with experience in most of the following:

• Strong commercial experience building full stack applications
• Node.js & Express
• React
• Vite
• AWS
• DynamoDB or other NoSQL databases
• REST API development and systems integration
• Designing scalable, maintainable software architectures
• Modern software development practices including Git and Agile
• Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring or architectural guidance
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Experience building SaaS products, cloud-native applications or enterprise platforms would be advantageous but isn't essential.
