Grid Dynamics in London is seeking a Senior Kotlin & TypeScript Developer to join a high-performing engineering team. This hands-on full-stack role focuses on trading technology, spanning Kotlin backend services and TypeScript/React frontend applications to support a sophisticated trade store platform.

The ideal candidate enjoys working across the stack, contributing to well-engineered, high-performance systems, and taking ownership in a senior engineering team.

Qualifications

• Strong Kotlin production experience on JVM-based backend services.
• Excellent TypeScript and React frontend development experience.
• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL design, queries and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Kotlin backend services.
• Build modern frontend applications using TypeScript and React.
• Develop and integrate APIs supporting trading workflows.
• Work with PostgreSQL to design, query, and optimise data storage.
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions.
• Deliver clean, maintainable and production-ready code.
• Write automated tests and maintain high engineering standards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and production issues.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver new functionality.
• Continuously improve development practices, tooling and processes.
