Job summary

IFS is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to shape and deliver scalable, cloud-based IndustrialAI solutions. You will provide technical leadership across front-end and back-end, influence architecture, and evolve the platform into a secure, observable product portfolio.

You will work across GoLang and React, mentor engineers, and champion DevOps, testing, and performance while driving production readiness in a hybrid, global environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in full stack software engineering across front-end and back-end.
• Solid experience with modern front-end technologies, particularly React.
• Strong back-end engineering experience, ideally including GoLang or similar languages.
• Experience designing and building scalable APIs and cloud-native applications.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
• Experience delivering secure, observable, high-quality production software.
• Ownership mindset, with accountability from design through production.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable APIs, services, and accessible user interfaces.
• Drive modernization of legacy systems into modular, event-driven components.
• Deliver AI-native features across front-end and back-end using multiple languages.
• Provide technical direction and trade-offs for scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Own reliability and operational excellence, including telemetry, SLOs, and incident response.
• Champion DevOps practices, including CI/CD and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineers in a lean DevOps model; assume application-level DevOps.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Champion code quality, testing, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Take ownership of deliverables quality including test automation and production readiness.
• Partner with Product, Design, AI, Platform Engineering and other teams on discovery and delivery.
• Bring product- and customer-led mindset to solve pain points with scalable engineering.
• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve architecture and ways of working.
