Job summary

Gravitas Recruitment Group (Global) Ltd partnered with a well-known UK brand to hire an experienced Full Stack Engineer on a contract basis. This remote role is open to candidates based in the UK with eligibility to work in the UK.

The role focuses on building scalable web and mobile applications using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, AWS and React Native in an agile environment. You will collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer delivering web and mobile features.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript across frontend and backend.
• Experience with React, Next.js and Node.js in production environments.
• Familiarity with AWS services and modern CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve customer-facing web and mobile applications.
• Develop scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Create responsive UIs with React and Next.js.
• Contribute to React Native apps where required.
• Work with AWS to build secure, scalable solutions.
• Collaborate in an agile environment with PMs, designers and engineers.
• Write clean, tested code and share engineering best practices.
