Job summary

Applied Data Science Partners is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to lead design, development and deployment of complex software solutions in Bath. You will architect data pipelines, backend services and APIs, with emphasis on scalable systems and good UI/UX.

Strong Python and Typescript, plus experience with cloud deployments and Docker, are required. On-site presence three days a week in Bath; DV clearance is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Experience presenting technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Proven track record building complex UI, APIs and integrations.
• Proficiency in Python and Typescript with relevant libraries.
• Experience with cloud deployment and containerisation (Docker).
• Strong web API, data processing and backend development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and deployment of software solutions.
• Architect data pipelines, backend services and APIs for performance.
• Code review of Python/SQL; promote code quality and security.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive engineering best practices.
• Contribute to frontend interfaces with a focus on UX.
• Communicate progress to stakeholders; produce documentation.
